Write one leaf about earthquakes.
(via writeoneleaf)
We used to have a lot in the Philippines. I remember I’d be eating soup on the bed and suddenly, I’d see waves in my soup.. and then my bed would shake, I’d stop eating soup for a while and wait for the quake to pass. And then after it passed, I’d it soup like usual because it was nothing special, lol. Now it feels crazy during an earthquake cause everyone around me is like, WTF IS HAPPENING so I’m like WTF IS HAPPENING and yeah…
and my name pretty much came from an earthquake back in the Philippines. My mom was about.. 3 months with me in July when there was an earthquake. She had to walk all the way to a hospital with Manong Jas so she could get to a safe place. When she was having me in January, she was going to name me Ruby. But then my Tita Marie offered the name Eartha since we made it through the earthquake together. “May” come from my great-grandmother Tamay.. I don’t remember her full name :(
so yeah, earthquakes!
OMG I never thought about this but:
YOU SHOULD BE AN EARTHBENDER!!!
